Guy Harvey is a unique blend of artist, scientist, diver, angler, conservationist, explorer and entrepreneur, fiercely devoted to his family and his love of the sea.
His childhood passion for the ocean and its living creatures not only inspired him to draw but fueled a burning interest that prompted a formal education in marine science. Having graduated with honors in Marine Biology from Aberdeen University in Scotland in 1977, Guy returned home to Jamaica to resume his education, earning his Ph.D. from the University of the West Indies in 1984.
Though he gave up a budding career as a marine biologist for that of a highly acclaimed artist, Guy has continued his relentless pursuit to unravel the mysteries of the sea, traveling the world to better understand the habits and habitats of the marine wildlife he paints. Guy is a recipient of the Simon Combes Award, and has been inducted into the Fishing, SCUBA Diving and Swimming Halls of Fame.

Love the product but not thrilled with the color. I don’t feel people would expect it to have a greenish/tan outer color.

This bag is amazing! I wanted something that would carry all my work needs including my lunch box so I could be hands free getting in and out of the car during northern Michigan winters. This bag exceeds my expectations by far. It is lightweight yet very durable, the straps don’t dig in or feel like they can’t handle the weight. The pockets are perfect for keeping my water bottle upright and I use the other for my wallet and keys so I’m not digging around and panicking when I can’t find it. The little pouch that comes with it is the perfect size for my chapstick and mints (and candy) but you could use it as a wallet if you wanted too. The color is the perfect shade of blue, not too grey and I don’t think it will show dirt. If you are thinking about it just order it. I hemmed and hawed for weeks but I’m so glad I finally got it!
